Celebrating Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, to mark the 75 years of India’s Independence from August 13 to August 15, the Modi government is aiming to have at least 20 crore Indian flags atop houses as a part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
It is to be noted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led governments in different states have been distributing Indian flags to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Telangana’s Hyderabad brigade too, distributed Indian Flags in various colonies.
While leading the campaign, the cantonment staff, BJP leaders and karyakartas – Banuka Narmada Mallikarjun (Ex-VP,SCB) and Banala Srinivas Reddy, Ganesh M, AnandRaj Pasham, Nagaraj praised the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, and said, that it is a good initiative, and PM Modi has spread awareness of the Tricolour among people.
Speaking on the distribution occasion, cantonment Ex-Vice Chairman Narmada Bhanuka Mallikarjun praised PM Modi for providing an opportunity for every Indian national and public in general for the first time in the history of India, for motivation and encouragement to hoist flag on their house tops.
Till now, we saw only Some privileged officers, principals and elected representatives hoisting the flags on independence day. But, this year will be historic as every individual will hoist the national flag on their house atops, he said.
Speaking to HNT reporter, Ganesh M, Cantonment key BJP leader conveyed special regards to the Colony Presidents, Secretaries and members for their participation in the distribution program:

Eventually, colony residents were advised by Ganesh to encourage others including students to hoist the Tricolour on Aug. 13 at 6 am at their houses and sing the National Anthem too to inculcate patriotism among the future generation.
The flag will fly at their houses till Aug.15, 6 pm.
