In a private meeting, UK Minister of State for Defence Procurement Mr. Alex Chalk met with Defence Secretary Shri Giridhar Aramane.
The meeting was held in conjunction with Aero India 2023, which was opened on February 13, 2023 by the Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Discussion topics included potential areas for defence industry cooperation as well as current and upcoming defence cooperation issues.
Mr. Alex Ellis, the British High Commissioner to India, accompanied the UK Minister.
Also, in order to commemorate over £150 million in investment in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Alex met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at India InvestInUp.
They also talked about future collaboration in defence procurement and other areas.
