TSRTC To Lease Prime Lands
TSRTC opens its prime lands in Hyderabad for leasing, offering a chance for businesses to expand and thrive.
To overcome financial challenges, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is taking steps to raise funds.
They have initiated e-tenders, inviting offers to lease their unused areas in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
These areas, situated in prime locations like Kachiguda, Medchal, Shamirpet, and Hakimpet, are open for proposals. TSRTC is encouraging interested parties to consider setting up automobile service centers/showrooms, in-city warehouses, and logistics operations on the available leased lands.
With land areas ranging from 2.83 to 4.14 acres, there’s ample space for prospective businesses to set up or expand.
Interested parties interested in this opportunity can contact the Deputy Chief Personnel Manager at 9959224433 between 10:30 am and 5 pm for details on the tender process and application.
The deadline for submitting tenders is January 18, 2024.
The available land for lease is in different areas:
- Kachiguda (4.14 acres),
- Medchal (2.83 acres),
- and Shamirpet (3.26 acres).
Officials highlight that the recent introduction of free bus travel for women has caused the TSRTC to incur a daily loss of nearly Rs 5 crore.
Leasing out RTC lands is seen as a strategy to mitigate these losses and ensure the Corporation’s financial stability in the future.
Additionally, more valuable lands owned by RTC in Municipal Corporations and major municipalities will be identified and offered for lease to generate additional revenue.
