MSME Ministry Seeking Consultants On Contract Basis

The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises intends to establish a pool of consultants for contractual positions, specifically at the Private Secretary/Personal Assistant level.
The Ministry is seeking retired Group ‘B’ government employees for consideration. Successful candidates will be engaged based on the Ministry’s requirements. Here are the details:

2 | PERIOD OF ENGAGEMENT | Initially one year. The performance during this period would be reviewed and based on performance, engagement may be regularized for a further period. The review of the contract will be done on year to year basis. |
3 | AGE LIMIT | Should not be more than 65 years of age. |
4 | REMUNERATION PAYABLE | 1. Last Pay Drawn (Basic Pay) - Basic Pension+Transport Allowance (Applicable at the time of retirement). 2· They shall continue to draw pension and DA, if any, during the period of their engagement as Consultant. 3. Their engagement as Consultant shall not be considered as a case of re-employment. |

6 | EXPERIENCE | Well conversant with the knowledge of computer applications, have good communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of stenography in English/Hindi and should be well conversant with noting/drafting and office procedure |
7 | TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT | The Ministry may terminate the services of Consultant in case his/her services are not satisfactory or he/she is lacking in honesty and integrity. |
8 | NOTICE PERIOD OF RELIEVING | The Contract can be terminated by either side by giving notice of one month's time. |
As per the MSME circular, the appointment of consultants on a contract basis will adhere to the ministry’s consultant engagement guidelines.
The chosen candidate must be reachable via mobile/telephone and email at all times during their engagement with the Ministry. There may be a requirement for them to attend the office on Saturdays, Sundays, and other holidays if necessary.
Retired individuals interested in immediate on-call availability may submit their details in the specified format, along with relevant documents, to the HR Section at Room No. 429 C, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi. Submissions can also be sent via email to hrsectmsme@gov.in, followed by a hard copy within one month from the circular’s publication date.
