The fabulous landscape Gandipet park with a stunning facelift is being built at Osmansagar, and is ready for public use, as it will be inaugurated by MAUD minister KTR soon.
The recreation spot was built at a cost of 35.6 crore by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) as part of the lake development and beautification project.
Though it has been ready from some time, authorities are delaying its opening in order to accommodate K.T.Rama Rao’s schedule.
Earlier, pictures and videos of the park have been circulated on twitter, and on Friday evening, Spl Chief Secretary Urban development, Arvind Kumar, shared a spectacular aerial view of illuminating park via his Twitter profile,
HMDA provided an entrance pavilion with 12 welcome arches and a cobblestone drive way.
The central pavilion, which features a four-meter-diameter globe in the centre, houses the ticketing counter and a guard room, and is encircled by four semicircular columns.
The park also has an entrance plaza, walkways, a flower terrace, a picnic zone, an open air theater with 1,200 seats to hold cultural programmes with Osman Sagar as the backdrop, and gazebos, food courts, and a restroom building.
