On February 11, Neeraj Sinha retired as DGP and the Government of Jharkhand has now appointed Ajay Kumar Singh (IPS:1989:JH) to succeed him as the new Director General of Police.
Ajay Kumar Singh previously served as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Ltd, as well as the additional charge DG of the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Jharkhand.
This appointment is an important development for the state of Jharkhand and for the police force, as Ajay Kumar Singh takes on this key leadership role.
