Jet Airways has started hiring pilots for three types of aircraft – Airbus A320, Boeing’s 737NG and 737MAX – reports LiveMint. This decision comes after the airline got its air operator certificate revalidated by aviation safety regulator Director General Of Civil Aviation earlier this year.
It is to be noted that JET AIRWAYS operations have been suspended since April 17, 2019 owing to financial distress and it is planning to revive by September 2022.
Recently India’s newest airline Akasa Air also announced its hiring plans for several positions as the airline expands its commercial operations in August.
Likewise, reacquired by Tata Group, Air India announced a hiring spree as it plans to expand its services.
Nitin Sethi, CEO of human capital business at consulting firm Aon India – Aon is a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions, said that with the budding entrants, the old players will have to dole out additional benefits like retention bonuses and pay hikes to keep attrition at bay.
