MLA Rohit Reddy in trouble?
Newly formed Bharath Rastra Samiti ( Earlier Telangana Rastra Samiti ) MLA Rohit Reddy and Tollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh have been served notices in a drug-related case.
The BRS party Tandur MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy, a key witness and complainant in the poachgate case, was served with a notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) requesting that he appear before the ED for questioning in connection with the 3-year-old Bangalore drug case on December 19, 2022.
The Tollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh has also been served notice from ED officials asking her to appear for questioning on the same date.
When given notices, Rohit Reddy responded that he would appear before the ED on December 19 and would check the details of the notice from the central agency.
In the meantime, a local court recently preserved Rohit Reddy’s testimony in the poachgate case, which is being looked into by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Days after stating the court in the poachgate case, the BRS party MLA received the ED notice in connection with the drug case.
Sources claim that producer Shankare Gowda hosted a party for his friends in Bangalore, where Rohit Reddy, along with two other businessmen, Kalahar Reddy and Sandeep Reddy, attended.
It is claimed that drugs were allegedly supplied at the party.
As per the reports, Gowda invited businessmen, politicians, and celebrities to the party.
Let us remind you that a famous person had previously been detained by Govindapura police in Bangalore in connection with this drug case, and Rohit Reddy was accused of attending the party to conduct a land deal.
