What are Coal India executives & pensioners demanding?
As per the official statement, the All-India Coal Pensioners Association (AICPA) and the All-India Association of Coal Executives (AIACE) are calling for the resolution of a pay conflict arising from the implementation of the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA-XI) between workers and executives.
To eliminate existing disparities, their demands include equal benefits for executives and non-executives, such as PRP, NPS, and other similar benefits. Additionally, they are advocating for the revision of pension under CMPS 1998 and the streamlining of CPRMS for executives and non-executives.
The statement emphasizes that efforts were made to address the issues through various platforms before the planned demonstration. Despite these attempts, they have not been successful in achieving the desired outcomes.
