Kale’s Airport Cargo Community System Goes Live at GMR Hyderabad Airport
Kale Logistics Solutions (Kale), a premier provider of logistics solutions, recently announced the successful rollout of its innovative Airport Cargo Community System (ACS) at the GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL).
This groundbreaking platform is geared towards enhancing efficiency and simplifying operations while boosting communication amongst various agents involved in the airport’s cargo complex.
The innovative system provides a streamlined connection between airports, cargo ground handlers, transporters, freight forwarders, customs brokers, airlines, importers/exporters, and customs via a standard, secure cloud-based IT platform.
The system is designed to enhance paperless trade by shifting trade documentation processes online, thus simplifying business operations.
It is noteworthy that Kale is dynamically involved with more than 100 airport cargo stations globally.
The operational launch of Kale’s ACS at GHIAL is of notable strategic importance as this makes it the 100th air cargo station to adopt this solution.
The impressively high usage rate of 99% during its initial implementation phase underscores the effectiveness and benefits of the ACS platform.
GMR Hyderabad International Airport ranked as India’s 4th busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic, has distinctive elements like a temperature-controlled pharma zone housed within its cargo terminal.
Interestingly, it’s now the 2nd airport in southern India to bring the ACS platform onboard, highlighting its dedication to increasing cargo throughput and boosting operational efficiency.
