Former Bureaucrats Join BJP’s Tactical Arsenal to Challenge BRS Government
In a strategic move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has garnered the support of several experienced ex-bureaucrats, including prominent individuals such as IYR Krishna Rao (Retd IAS: 1979: AP) and L V Subramanyam (Retd IAS: 1983: AP).
It is noteworthy that they both served as chief secretaries of the unified Andhra Pradesh in the past.
Insider also revealed that the effort extends to include retired IPS officers and respected former professors.
The motive behind this alliance is to equip the BJP with significant resources, enhancing their capacity to efficiently challenge their political adversaries, especially in Telangana against the “pink party.”(BRS Government)
It looks like this endeavor aims at honing the party’s strategy against the incumbent government headed by the BRS party in anticipation of the forthcoming elections.
Around twenty Ex and Current IAS Officers, most of whom are the supporters of BJP, are quietly operating in the background.
Their main task is the in-depth study of different schemes and projects launched by the BRS government. The top aim of their work is to provide the BJP state leadership with detailed data and statistics.
A BJP insider revealed, that this data will lay the groundwork for a story that clearly explains the BRS administration’s apparent failure to its Telangana constituents – a failure spanning 2 terms since the state’s inception.
This will also strengthen the argument for replacing the current administration.
The renowned officials engaged in this project bring a wide range of expertise. Key figures include:
- T Krishna Prasad (Retd IPS: 1987: TG), an ex-IPS officer, and
- R Chandravadan, an ex-IAS officer.
- SK Jayachandra (Retd IPS: 1978: TG), a distinguished former police officer in Andhra Pradesh, and
- advocate Nagendra, who is interestingly the brother of Lok Satta’s founder, Jayaprakash Narayana.
As per BJP, it’s important to highlight that its strategy is not limited to merely pointing out corruption. In fact, the party’s goal is not just to connect with the public rhetoric but also to provide concrete facts.
They focus on presenting thoroughly researched data about the BRS government’s budget assignments and their coordination with the commitments made over the past nine years.
In this methodical manner, they aim to highlight the disconnect between the declared initiatives and the actual money spent.
The party believes this provides a powerful argument that a shift in leadership is not only necessary but absolutely critical.
A few days ago, the team conducted their initial meeting at a private city hotel. N Kiran Kumar Reddy, the ex-CM of the united Andhra Pradesh and current leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was among the attendees.
According to inside information, Kiran Kumar Reddy gave considerable data concerning the BRS government.
The team is scheduled to convene once more in the forthcoming days to develop preliminary strategies against the BRS, as per sources.
