This is a significant and extensive celebration of Telangana Formation Day! It’s impressive that the festivities will span 21 days, culminating on June 22 with a special tribute to the martyrs.
On June 22nd, The grand rally at Tank Bund and the inauguration of the newly-constructed Martyrs Memorial by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao add a significant touch to the occasion.

In observance of Telangana Formation Day, the city police have announced that traffic movement will be restricted from 9 pm onwards on June 4.
The Police will be conducting a foot patrol exercise starting from 9 pm, resulting in the temporary cessation of traffic at the following junctions.
During the foot patrol exercise, there will be temporary halts in vehicular movement at the following junctions:
- Orissa Island
- CVR/BVB Junction
- Journalist Colony Junction
- Road No. 45 Junction
- Jubilee Hills Check Post Junction
- KBR Park Junction
- Cancer Hospital Junction
