On Thursday, Suzlon, an ace player specializing in renewable energy solutions, announced that it has secured a project to generate 300 megawatts of wind energy from Apraava Energy.
As part of this project, Suzlon will set up 100 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) equipped with Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers.
Each of these generators has a capacity of 3 megawatts. The installation will take place at Apraava Energy’s site in Karnataka, as mentioned in a statement released by the company.
Suzlon Group has secured a fresh contract to construct a 300 MW wind power project for Apraava Energy Private Ltd, according to the official statement.
Under the terms of the agreement, Suzlon will provide the wind turbines and oversee the entire project, from its initiation to commissioning.
Additionally, Suzlon will be responsible for comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-commissioning.
Expressing enthusiasm, Suzlon Group Vice Chairman Girish Tanti mentioned, “Apraava has been a longstanding and repeat customer for us, and we are pleased to collaborate with them once again.”
