The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy is set to host a ‘Chintan Shivir’ on Nov 14-15 in Bhubaneswar.
This strategic gathering will focus on formulating actionable pathways to reach the 500 GW renewable energy target by 2030 and advance towards the ambitious goal of 1800 GW by 2047.
The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is organizing a two-day ‘Chintan Shivir’ on November 14-15, 2024, at ITC Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The event will concentrate on strategic approaches to achieve India’s renewable energy target of 500 GW by 2030 and advance toward the ambitious goal of 1800 GW by 2047.
The Shivir will be inaugurated by the Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Shri Pralhad Joshi, at 9:00 AM on November 14.
Dignitaries addressing the event include the Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi; Union Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik; Odisha’s Energy Minister, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo; and MNRE Secretary, Shri Prashant Kumar Singh.
The Chintan Shivir will gather prominent decision-makers, financial institutions, industry leaders, CEOs, and key officials from central and state governments critical to India’s renewable energy transition.
Participants will engage in thematic sessions to brainstorm key and emerging issues in the sector, fostering collaboration toward India’s sustainable energy future.
The ‘Chintan Shivir’ organized by the MNRE will feature a series of key sessions addressing pivotal areas of India’s renewable energy strategy:
