Amazon Air News – Amazon India launched its first Amazon Prime Air flight on Monday to further enhance its transportation network and enable faster delivery to customers.
It should be noted that Amazon India is the first e-commerce company in India to introduce a dedicated air cargo network.
Telangana’s Minister for MAUD, Industries & Commerce, and IT, KTR, was present at the induction event.
It’s Amazon’s first collaboration with a third-party air carrier to provide a dedicated air cargo network, to improve its long-term commitment to India’s transportation infra network for faster deliveries.

Quikjet will use the airplane to deliver Amazon packages to cities such as Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai.
Speaking at the launching event, KTR said
Telangana offers a conducive environment for the development of multi-model connectivity and I take great pride in the fact that Hyderabad has emerged as a major hub for e-commerce distribution and supply chain activities.
We have been working to improve the state’s air cargo infrastructure, and we welcome the launch of Amazon Air, which will help to make Hyderabad a cargo hub for the country and create more job opportunities in the state, he added.
