This collaboration is all about encouraging people to switch to electric two-wheelers (e2Ws) and electric three-wheelers (e3Ws) by setting up special fast charging spots using direct current (DC) technology throughout the state.

BPCL and TCPL have officially agreed on a detailed plan, starting with three years and the possibility of extending it for up to two more years, depending on both parties’ agreement.

The initial step in this partnership involves Trinity Cleantech Private Limited (TCPL) installing charging stations at BPCL energy stations in Ayodhya.

This coincides with introducing of electric auto-rickshaws during the inauguration of a temple, an event attended by the Prime Minister of India.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by BPCL’s Chief General Manager (Marketing, Retail), Rahul Tandon, and TCPL’s CEO, Raj Kumar Medimi.

This signing ceremony was attended by BPCL’s Executive Director (in charge of Retail), Santosh Kumar, and TCPL’s Director, Surender Nath Mandem.

According to the agreement, Trinity Cleantech Private Limited (TCPL) will initially concentrate on cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Noida, Saharanpur, and Agra.
