Investigations into the reported theft of files from the offices of several former ministers continued on Monday, December 11th.
It is noteworthy that suddenly the files went missing after the BRS party lost power in recent elections.
The statement of the director of the animal husbandry department has been recorded, as informed by D Srinivas, the DCP, Central Zone.
The Officer On Special Duty (OSD) for the former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Kalyan, is facing accusations of file misplacement in the office.
Speaking to the media, the higher officer said that he intended to interview the director as well as Kalyan and document their statements.
Furthermore, he admitted that he had received an official complaint about the disappearance of furniture from the offices of former minister Srinivas Goud.
Similarly, a case has been filed about the missing cupboard from the office of former education minister Sabita Indra Reddy.
Should their involvement be confirmed, appropriate actions will be taken accordingly,” stated the senior police officer.
So far, 3 cases have been registered at Nampally, Saifabad, and Abid Road police stations after the staff of former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Srinivas Goud, and P Sabitha Indra Reddy were allegedly stealing and transporting files and furniture from the offices following the change in power to the Congress party.
