Video Of Five Youngsters Entering Wild Boar Compound In Vizag, went on viral on social media – All are Arrested
Five youngsters all age group of 19 and 21 years residents of Marikavalasa have been arrested for illegally entering and disturbing the wild board paddock at Indira Gandhi Zoological park at Vizianagaram.
The youth also uploaded a video on social media on July 3rd. However, the officials registered a police complaint in Arilova on July 12th after learning about the incident through video on social media which got viral.
The case was booked under Wildlife Protection Act against the unidentified individuals under section 38-J for teasing animals in the Zoo.
Speaking to the media, Arilova inspector Emanual Raju said that they received a complaint from vizag Zoo authorities on July 12 pertaining to an instagram video. We immediately registered a case and requested instagram officials to furnish full details of the uploader.
Instagram, however, denied giving the details citing privacy rules and deleted the video. Then the cops struggled with the probe and eventually caught the youth after two weeks of hard investigation in two districts, added the police officer.
As per the Zoo curator Nandani Salaria, a group of boys entered the paddock area of wild boar and shot the video within a few minutes and posted it on social media to get more likes and shares on their social profiles.
In the video, a boy is seen being attacked by the wild boar. It is to be noted that 54 CCTV cameras are installed in the zoo premises which are being continuously monitored? as per the Zoo curator..
