A Kochi-based 28 year old business man, Dheeraj Palliyil, traveled all the way to Dubai from Kochi only to get the model of the latest iPhone model on the day of its release.
He purchased a brand new iPhone 14 Pro and become one of the first owners of the new model of iPhone.
Dheeraj is the director of Dare Picture digital consultancy.

Dheeraj bought the new iPhone 14 Pro from a premium reseller in Mirdif City Centre in Dubai. He became the first person among the hundreds waiting outside the Apple store.
This will be the fourth time he has traveled to Dubai to buy an iPhone on the first day of sale. He also bought the iPhone 12, and iPhone 13.
The starting price for the iPhone 14 is Rs 79,900, and the pricing for the iPhone 14 Plus is Rs 89,900.
Starting at Rs. 1,29,900 for the iPhone 14 Pro and Rs. 1,39,900 for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
He spent around Rs 40,000 for ticket fare and visa fee to flew to Dubai. Just hours before the sale started in India, he purchased the 512 GB storage model for around Rs 1,29,000.
