Chandigarh University (CU) students held a protest last night after alleged ‘leaked objectionable videos’ of women students went viral. A watchman of the varsity, speaking to Media said that the girl student has been arrested and the situation has been brought under control.
Amid all this, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood took to Twitter to condemn the incident. He wrote, “Something that happened in Chandigarh University is very unfortunate. It’s time for us to stand with our sisters and set an example of a responsible society. These are testing times for us, not for the victims. Be responsible ”

Chandigarh University’s dean of student welfare told repoters that one of the students who recorded the objectionable videos shared it with her friend, who is actually her boyfriend. When her roommates learned about it, they reported the matter to the warden of the hostel.

Police are verifying claims that the woman who was accused of leaking the videos was being blackmailed by a man, as per reports.
