In a disturbing event, it has been reported that a man filmed a video of his wife on the brink of hanging herself in Muradnagar, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad.
Sources indicate that the man, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, not only failed to intervene and prevent the woman from taking her own life but also purportedly encouraged her actions.
Regrettably, as a result of this tragic incident, the couple’s two children are now left orphaned, with their mother having passed away and their father being detained.
The police have reported that Syed Rasool, the individual in question, entered into marriage with Arshiya five years ago, and they have two children. Investigations have revealed that Rasool concealed his existing marital status when marrying Arshiya.
Arshiya was unhappy due to Rasool’s regular alcohol consumption, and locals claim that the couple frequently argued whenever Rasool returned home in an inebriated state.
Arshiya, reportedly upset with Rasool’s habitual drinking, was discontented as he was known to be a regular drinker. According to local residents, the couple frequently engaged in arguments, particularly when Rasool returned home intoxicated.
As per the reports on the night of Monday, Rasool once again returned home under the influence of alcohol. Arshiya, frustrated with his drinking habits, warned him to cease drinking, threatening to take her own life if he didn’t comply.
However, Rasool, in his intoxicated state, not only provoked her but also recorded a video as Arshiya hanged herself from the ceiling fan using her clothes. Unfortunately, Rasool did not intervene to prevent Arshiya from taking this drastic step, and she passed away that night.
Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and apprehended Rasool. When questioned about his inaction, Rasool claimed he thought Arshiya was merely making threats and never anticipated that she would actually die. A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway.
