Karnataka emerged as the champions of the South Zone Physical Disability T20 Tournament 2025, delivering a composed and confident five-wicket victory over Hyderabad in the grand final held at the NFCL Cricket Ground, ECIL, Hyderabad.

Batting first, Hyderabad posted a competitive total of 115/8 in 20 overs, with Prashanth Ram top-scoring with a crucial 27 runs.

Karnataka’s bowlers displayed exceptional discipline, spearheaded by Ashoka Yadav, whose outstanding four-wicket haul effectively restricted Hyderabad from building momentum.

In reply, Karnataka chased down the target with maturity and control, reaching 118/5 in 18.3 overs.
Opener Bharat anchored the innings with a calm and match-winning 35-run knock, guiding his team to a memorable championship triumph and showcasing remarkable temperament under pressure.
Earlier in the day, Andhra Pradesh secured third place by defeating Kerala in the playoff encounter.

Addressing the gathering at the closing ceremony, Ravi Kant Chauhan, Secretary, Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) and Chief Guest, stated:

Tournament Overview
The tournament was held from December 26 to 28, 2025, organised by the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) with the support of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and hosted by the Telangana Cricket Association for the Disabled (TCAD).
Teams from Hyderabad, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, and Kerala participated, highlighting the rapid growth, competitiveness, and rising standards of physical disability cricket in the South Zone.
