Justice Lalitha Kanneganti, serving as a Judge at the Telangana High Court, has now been transferred to the Karnataka High Court.
Justice Lalitha Kanneganti was born and brought up in the respected family of the late Sri Kommineni Ankamma Choudary and Smt. Amareswari in Cheruvu Jammulapalem Village, Bapatla Mandal, Guntur District.
She completed her schooling at St. Theresa s, Erragadda; her intermediate studies at Nagarjuna Junior College, S.R.Nagar.
She pursued her Bachelor’s in Arts from Sarojini Naidu Vanita Mahavidyalaya, Nampally, Hyderabad, and earned a degree in Law from Padala Rami Reddy Law College, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Throughout her legal education, she was celebrated for her exceptional academic merits.
Justice Kanneganti registered as an Advocate on 28th December 1994 with the composite Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh.
Her Lordship exercised her legal expertise in diverse fields, such as Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, Tax, Service, Non-Service, Motor Accident Claims, and Matrimonial cases. In addition, she served as the primary legal representative for several institutions.Her Lordship was the standing counsel for Agriculture Market Committees, English and Foreign Languages University, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Endowments, Sri Venkateshwara Vedic University, Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) and Sanskrit University, Tirupati.
She started her practice under the guidance of Sri M.R.K. Choudary, Sri K.Harinath, and Sri O.Manohar Reddy. Despite the short period, she developed an independent practice.
