Hyderabad Rains Zones And Colour Code
Hyderabad rains seem to have no ceased plans. It is predicted to have severe downpours throughout all Six Hyderabad Zones.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad will have moderate to heavy rainfall on Wednesday. An orange alert was also released by the weather service.
A yellow alert or signal denotes heavy rainfall between 6 and 11 cm, whereas an orange alert denotes very heavy rains from 6 to 20 cm of rain.
What Is An Orange Weather Warning For Hyderabad Rains
A status orange weather warning is issued prior to predicted weather conditions that have the potential to have a major negative impact on people, property, and activity in a specified area.
People in the affected areas should get ready as soon as possible for the conditions expected.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the next three days starting from September 29. It is forecasted that during the period, Hyderabad will witness light to moderate rainfall.
The weather department also predicted that at times, an intense spell is very likely to occur.
All the six zones of hyderabad city: are expected to see moderate to heavy rainfall with lightning, as per the weather experts.

- Serilingampally,
- Kukatpally,
- Secunderabad and
- Khairatabad.
Additionally, it stated that an intense spell is frequently likely to happen.
Hyderabad Rains On Tuesday
Tuesday saw heavy rains hit Hyderabad, disrupting daily life. Traffic movement was significantly hampered, and several colonies of Hyderabad, particularly the old city, experienced water logging issues.

Low-lying areas in the city had severe impacts as waterlogging in some of the houses.
Saroornagar Mandal in Rangareddy recorded the highest rainfall of 59.5 mm. Other areas in Hyderabad that received heavy rainfall include Hayathnagar, Bahadurpura, Uppal, Nampally, Charminar, Maredpally, Kukatpally, and Malkajgiri.

The temperature in Hyderabad is likely to remain between 29-31 degrees Celsius and 21-22 degrees Celsius. A few places in the state are likely to record heavy rainfall for the next three days, according to the TSDPS (Temperatures and Weather Forecast).
