GATE Registration 2023: IIT Kanpur will close GATE 2023 registration tomorrow, September 30th. Candidates can apply online without late fees until tomorrow midnight at gate.iitk.ac.in.
GATE Registration 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will close registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 tomorrow, Sept 30th, 2022, without charging a late fee.
Candidates who have not yet applied can do so by visiting gate.iitk.ac.in and complet the pplication form.
However, as per the notice, candidates can still apply with a late fee of Rs. 500 till October 7, 2022.
The charge is valid till tomorrow, and the late fines for different types of candidates vary.

Candidates for the GATE 2023 registration form will not be accepted if they have not paid the application fees. Candidates must note that if they haven’t paid the fee till tomorrow, then they have to pay the revised fee till the last date which is 7th October.
Candidates will be able to rectify their details of the GATE 2023 application form till 20th October 2022. Candidates will have to visit the official website – gate.iitk.ac.in.
About Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
- The IIT Kanpur will conduct GATE 2023 for 29 papers.
- The PG engineering entrance exam will be held on the 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th of February 2023 this year.
- Candidates can also choose the two paper combinations from a list of combinations of papers.
- Each GATE 2023 paper will be held for 100 marks, General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers (15 marks) and the other paper covers the individual syllabus (85 marks)
GATE score Validity
The GATE score is valid for three years, but the validity extends only for the year of recruitment. GATE score is valid for three years.
