Breaking: ED intensifying investigations into major irrigation contracts.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is carrying out raids at multiple offices and residences of Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy in Hyderabad on Friday.
Officials from the ED, having arrived from New Delhi, are conducting searches at 16 different locations tied to the Minister and several others.
Sources reveal that 16 teams are working concurrently to investigate the sites associated with the Minister.
The searches are being carried out at the offices of Raghava Constructions and Infra, under the protection of the CRPF.

It should be noted that this is the same company that recently secured a contract for the Narayanpet-Kodangal Lift Irrigation project.
It is noteworthy that the ED had previously conducted raids at the offices and residences of Congress MLA from Chennur, G. Vivek Venkat Swamy, during the Assembly elections last November.
Similar operations were also carried out at the properties of his brother, Bellampally MLA G. Vinod.
