She succumbed to her burn injuries. The video of accused Shahrukh who was seen laughing in police custody was widely shared on social media.
India Today, who swank about its years of consistent focus on journalistic and editorial excellence, has become the hoaxer, breaking the standards of Journalism.
It is astonishing how the news groups barometer for trust in its lab with over 42 years of experience, has failed to investigate and slithered through sub-editors and chief editor’s eagle eyes before publishing.

To write an article you need a source, and the source might have told you (IT) the real name that has been manipulatively and deliberately changed the name of the accused from Shahrukh to Abhishek in this particular case.

The corrigendum is merely served as a way to conceal the cunning act.
They intelligently tried to wipe off the intentional blunder, as soon as they drew several flaks for Ankita Singh post from social media users, but what the Group forgot is that we have technology to trace the source, even if you thought (think) that you have deleted it.
