Pran Pratishtha
Today, Ayodhya will host a significant ceremony known as Pran Prathistha, wherein a sacred ritual will unfold to consecrate the idol of Lord Ram.
Distinguished attendees will grace this historic occasion, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and other esteemed guests.
The event is meticulously organized with stringent security measures in place to ensure its smooth execution.
Pran Pratishtha is a well-known ritual observed in both Jainism and Hinduism, involving the installation of a deity’s idol at a sacred site, typically within a temple, following a process of sanctification.
Throughout the installation, priests engage in various rituals accompanied by the chanting of Vedic hymns.
The term “Pran” signifies life force, while “Pratishtha” denotes establishment, collectively emphasizing the consecration and establishment of divine presence in the idol.
On Sunday, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced that the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony will be accompanied by a spectacular musical event titled ‘Mangal Dhwani’.

The performance, featuring renowned artists from the music world, is scheduled for 10 am.
The main event, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla at the Ayodhya Temple, is set to take place at 12:30 pm. Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh has been adorned with posters and flags of Lord Ram, creating a festive atmosphere.
Cities across the country are also aglow with lights, displaying large cutouts of Lord Ram, and adorned with posters bearing religious slogans related to Lord Ram in anticipation of the significant ceremony.

On Thursday, the Central Government declared that its offices would remain closed for half a day on January 22. Several states have also declared a holiday in observance of the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tripura, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
In Delhi, LG VK Saxena approved the closure of government offices and educational institutions until 2:30 PM on January 22.
SECURITY MEASURES
To bolster security measures in the city, the Uttar Pradesh government has established a dial 112 monitoring center at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.
Uttar Pradesh Police Department revealed on Sunday that more than 13,000 security personnel have been strategically deployed in and around Ayodhya.
This extensive security arrangement aims to guarantee the secure and seamless execution of the grand temple event.
In addition to this, detailed seating arrangements have been meticulously organized for the invitees, with officials and personnel strategically deployed in specific sectors to oversee security and overall arrangements.
To enhance surveillance, approximately 10,000 CCTV cameras have been installed throughout the entire district. The special DG highlighted that coordination with both central and state agencies has been established to ensure a comprehensive security network.
In preparation for any contingencies, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has established a camp near the shrine in Ayodhya.
Anti-bomb squad and dog squad teams are also stationed at Ayodhya’s Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, anticipating the influx of devotees and dignitaries into the temple town.
Hindu communities worldwide are eagerly preparing for extravagant celebrations, expressing their uncontained enthusiasm and deep reverence for this momentous occasion.
Earlier on Thursday, January 18, the idol of Shri Ram Lalla, meticulously crafted by the renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, was ceremoniously placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
Shrouded in a veil, the first glimpse of the idol was unveiled during the placement ceremony within the sanctum sanctorum on Thursday.
