Vistadome Coaches by Indian Railways have completely changed the train journey experience and the way people use to feel while traveling.
From the stunning views of rivers & valleys to the breathtaking waterfalls, passengers traveling on Pragati Express can now enjoy the grandeur of nature, with the addition of a Vistadome Coach on the 3rd train on Mumbai-Pune route.
The Indian Railways on June 26th 2021, launched a Vistadome Coach Service – This state-of-the-art coach is equipped with transparent windows panes and glass rooftop, 180 degrees rotatable seats, and pushback chairs having a Wi-Fi-based Passenger information system with the Regular Services Details.
Initially, the coach was introduced on Jan Shatabdi Express on the Mumbai-Madgaon route in the year 2018 for passengers to enjoy the view of the Western Ghats. On the Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express Special train, which ran full house. At present, the Vistadome coach service is operational in the Mumbai-Madgaon Jan Shadabdi Special train.
