The Pro Kabaddi League‘s (PKL) 9th season’s captain and vice-captain for Bengaluru Bulls have been announced.
Mahendra Singh, who plays cover, has been named captain, while Saurabh Nandal, who plays corner, has been named vice-captain.
Bengaluru Bulls posted this PKL 9 news on their official social media account. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat led the Bulls in the eighth PKL season, however, he will play for Tamil Thalaivas this year.
There were rumors that in Pawan’s absence, Vikas Kandola would be given this responsibility.
The team has assigned veteran defender Mahender Singh this responsibility, and the management would be hoping that under the new captainship, he can win the PKL championship for the second time.
Earlier, the Bengaluru Bulls took home the PKL championship for the Sixth Season.
Despite only having one championship, the squad has routinely advanced to the playoffs.
He had also made it to the semifinals the previous season, so it would be interesting to see how he does this time around.

How have Mahender Singh and Saurabh Nandal performed in Pro Kabaddi League, PKL?
- Mahendra Singh, the incoming Bengaluru Bulls captain, has appeared in 87 PKL games and recorded 222 points.
- Mahender Singh scored two points for raids and two hundred and twenty points for tackles.
- He has also made 23 amazing tackles and 14 high fives over his career.
Regarding Saurabh Nandal,
- He has 126 points throughout 47 games.
- Nandal scored one point while raiding and 126 points while making tackles.
- He has made 12 amazing tackles and seven high fives.
It is worth noting that Mahender Singh and Saurabh Nandal have only participated in PKL games for Bengaluru Bulls.
Mahender Singh is playing for Bulls from Season 5 and Nandal from Season 7.
They both have positive collective playing experiences, and the coach will also be hoping that these guys perform well and advance the squad.
In addition to Mahender Singh and Saurabh Nandal, the Bulls’ defense also includes Aman, Mayur Kadam, Sudhakar, Vinod Malik, and Rajneesh.
