IMPCL profits – As per the Press Information Bureau of India, the Indian Medicines Pharmaceutical Corporation (IMPCL), a central public sector enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Ayush, GOI, has announced a dividend payment of Rs 10.13 crores to its stakeholders, the Ministry of Ayush and the Government of Uttarakhand.
The dividend cheque for the Ministry of Ayush was handed over to Union Minister of Ayush Shri Sarbananda Sonowal today at an event at Transport Bhawan.
It is to be noted that the Health agency has registered an impressive increase in profits in comparison to the previous FY 2020-21, which is a commendable achievement,” said Sonowal on this occasion.
On the operational front, the company has achieved a 47% increase in capacity utilization over the previous year, said Dr. Mukesh Kumar, MD, IMPCL Ltd.

The GOI has granted IMPCL Ltd. Mini Ratna Category II status, as well as ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The company is currently producing 656 Classical Ayurvedic, 332 Unani, and 71 Proprietary Ayurvedic Medicines for a wide range of diseases.
It provides Ayurvedic and Unani medicines to all states through the National Ayush Mission (NAM) and 6000 Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
