IITDelhi, has launched an online certificate programme titled “Advance Certification in Web 3.0, Social Media and Metaverse”.
The Evolution of World Wide Web: From Web 1.0 to Web 3.0, Social Media and Metaverse The technological evolution of the World Wide Web – often referred to as ‘The Web’ – has progressed through three key stages, identified as Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0.
In the beginnings, Web 1.0 was characterized by static content. This evolved into Web 2.0, which brought about an era of interactivity.
At the current stage, Web 3.0 — also known as the Semantic Web or the Read-Write-Execute Web — embodies a more advanced and democratized internet environment without a centralized authority.
The trajectory of Web 3.0 is directed towards universal applications that can be interpreted and utilized by an extensive range of devices and software, elevating online participation and interaction to an unprecedented scale.
IIT Delhi’s Advanced Certification in Web 3.0, Social Media and Metaverse (ACPWSMM) is offering the intersection of these three significant technologies.
