Andy Ruiz jr, the boxer who once defeated Anthony Joshua, will return to the boxing ring on Sunday, Sep 4th 2022 for Premier Boxing Champions
The only way to know the best boxer in a division is by seeing the best fight the best. In this promoter driven era of boxing, where there are multiple world titles for each division, seeing the best fight the best is rare.
Right now the top 3 heavyweights are Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, and Andy Ruiz Jr.
Andy Ruiz Jr is keen to exchange blows with Luis Ortiz in Los Angeles. His return is seen as crucial as we assess the landscape and ranks the best big men around.
Andy who lost his reign unexpectedly to Anthony Joshua‘s as world heavyweight title of the world, since that epic night at the world-famous Madison Square Garden, Ruiz’s career has been a series of ups and downs.
It is to be noted that, Andy Ruiz has returned after a 17-month absence, to strongly refer Chris Arreola in an entertaining scrap in California in May 2021.
Prior to that, Andy was not out since losing his world heavyweight titles in that rematch to Anthony Joshua in 2019.
He was easily overcome by toned 256 pound Joshua in their Saudi Arabia rematch, after coming into the fight with 283 pound, flabby and out of shape and out of form.
But now, it appears that he finally has his career back on track with recent training clips showing the Mexican looking sharp and ready for the LA showdown.
In the footage, the good engine and fast hands are still exists, but questions still haunts after he parted ways with Eddy Reynoso.
Despite having another new trainer, Ruiz to lock horns with Luis Ortiz in an eagerly-awaited WBC eliminator in Los Angeles this September, the rumors emerge that Ruiz has gone off his diet and could go into the clash lacking fitness.
