2 Russian YouTubers have been apprehended for rumouredly infiltrating a 60-floor twin tower complex in Tardeo, purported in an attempt to record a stunt video, the police announced on Tuesday.
The couple was apprehended tardily on Monday night and a violation in accordance with section 452 (home incursion) and other pertinent sections of the IPC was recorded against them, an official remarked.
The Russian embassy had been informed of the incident after the filing of the FIR.
Allegedly, the accused slinked into The Imperial, a luxurious two-tower complex, to produce an audacious video and were glimpsed through surveillance cameras by vigilant security guards, who immediately reached out to law enforcement and surrounded them, the official stated.
During the investigation, it transpired that the twosome had laboriously mounted to the 58th story of one of the towers utilizing the staircase and had purportedly planned to ascend from the exterior and capture a video while executing the dare, he said.
Subsequent to the detection of the indicted, the accused traversed to the 28 the story before sneaking onto a podium on the 5th floor, then abruptly leaping into the knoll, according to the official.
The suspect endured physical lacerations on their extremities, and further investigation is underway.
