Soon, on January 22, 2024, the holy idol of Lord Rama will be established within the Ayodhya Ram Temple.

The preparations for this auspicious event are progressing seamlessly, with the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Railway Department joining forces to arrange transportation and lodging amenities for devotees making their pilgrimage to Ayodhya.

The construction of the majestic Ram Temple in Ayodhya has reached its completion. The first floor has been finished, and January 22 has been designated as the sacred day for the temple’s consecration.

Efforts are underway to meticulously arrange the grand Mahakratuna event. It is anticipated that throngs of people from all corners of the nation will flock to Ayodhya, eager to pay homage at the temple.

In light of this, the Railway department aspires to operate 1000 trains to Ayodhya within the initial 100 days, commencing on January 19. Devotees will be granted entry to the temple via Marnadu from January 22 onwards.

According to reliable sources, trains to Ayodhya will operate from various points across the country, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow, and Jammu. The implementation of the suggested number of trains will be based on the demand.

Additionally, the Ayodhya station has undergone renovations to handle the anticipated influx of passengers. The ongoing development work aims to cater to approximately 50,000 passengers per day. The station is expected to be fully prepared by January 15th.

The redevelopment of Ayodhya Railway Station is set to occur, modeled after a temple (temple inspired model), with the budget being increased to Rs 104.77 Crores.

The Ayodhya Railway Station is being redeveloped featuring a design influenced by local architectural aesthetics and religious principles.

According to sources, pilgrim groups are availing chartered train services to book their journeys to Ayodhya.

In response, IRCTC is preparing to cater to the needs of these pilgrims during the 10-15 day period when their influx is high. Numerous food stalls will be established to meet the increased demand.

Additionally, pilgrims visiting the birthplace of Lord Rama will have the opportunity to enjoy an electric boat ride on the revered Sarayu River, which can accommodate up to 100 individuals.
